Letter From The Chief Editor

This has been an awesome week filled with crazy emotions, huge disappointments, endless laughs, and as always… great life lessons.

Quote: They say people come and go. The truth is nobody really disappears from your life. People never really leave, their roles just change.

I can relate very well to this quote because something transpired this week that made me realize that I haven’t disappeared from my close friends lives, I’ve just got a different role that happens to be the downgrade of what I was before.

I ‘lost’ a friend by ‘deleting’ her off BBM and spent more than 2 days without her talking to her and still didn’t realize that she has been ‘deleted’ of my BBM. I am not cruel nor am I heartless; her role in my life has just drastically changed. Yes she's my friend but she's my friend in a different view.

The lesson learnt here is that one shouldn’t dwell on and rely too much on ‘friends’. We make friends, we hate friends, we love friends, we lose friends, and in the end we are our own very best friends. When a friend brushes you off stop dwelling on it and creating negative perceptions in your mind of that person because it’s very simple…
