Hip Hop - Is South African Hip Hop Really Improving

Ice Cream went out and did some research about our readers views on Hip Hop, most importantly the South African Hip Hop scene. We've come to the conclusion that Hip Hop in South  Africa is growing at a rapid rate and that South African hip hop artists are actually taking initatiave and making good music. Everyone needs to start somewhere but some of the songs/ tracks that are uploaded onto MP3Twit is a lot of garbage, Can South Africa's hip hop giants maybe teach the lil' guys a thing or two.

Having done over 25 interviews with various hip hop artists in South Africa i've come to the realisation that hip hop is not just about the music, of course theres money involved because everyone needs to eat but is Hip Hop really about the music only? There are a few artists that IceCream is super prouf of, they are making major power moves, building a great brand for themselves, and make good music.
Spaza Shop Boys
